Ó RODACHÁIN—IO Rodeghan, Rodaughan, Rudihan, Rudican, Redahan, Redehan, (Redington, Reddington); 'descendant of Rodachán' (diminutive of Rodach); the name of an ecclesiastical family in Co. Leitrim, who were coarbs of St. Caillin at Fenagh; still common in Connacht, but often shortened to Ó Rodaigh, and sometimes disguised under the anglicised form of Redington or Reddington.
