Ó MÁRTAIN—II—O Marten, O Martin, Martin, Marten; 'descendant of Martin.' The Four Masters, under the year 1216, record the death of Giollaarnain Ua Martain, chief ollav of law in Ireland. In 1431, Bishop O'Martain of Clogher died.
