Ó MAOL an MHUAIDH—I—(Molyneux); 'descendant of Maol an Mhuaidh' (follower of the noble); probably a distorted form of Ó Maolmhuaidh, which see; in use in North Kerry, pronounced Ó Mullanua and anglicised Molyneux.
