Ó MADAGÁIN—I—O Madagane, O Madigane, Madigan, Maddigan; the same as Ó Madáin or Ó Madaidhín, which see; an offshoot of the family of O'Madden of Co. Galway who settled in the 16th century in Clare and Limerick, where they are still numerous.
