Ó CORRAIDHÍN—I—O Corrin, O Corren, O Currine, Curreen, Curren, Currin, (Curran), Creen, Crean; 'descendant of Corraidhín' (diminutive of Corradh); a variant of Ó Corráin, which see; also written Ó Cuirín; a common surname throughout Munster and South Leinster, but generally anglicised Curran. Creen is a contracted form of Curreen.
