Mac MOGHRÁIN, Mac MUGHRÓIN—IV—M'Murrone, MacMurran, MacMurren, MacMouran, MacMorran, MacMoran, MacMorin, MacMurrin; 'son of Mughrón' (slave-seal); the name of a Co. Leitrim family who were erenaghs of Killanummery, and apparently also of a family in Ui Maine, Co. Galway. Like Ó Mughróin (which see), Mac Mughróin was early corrupted to Mac Moghráin.
