Mac CONMEADHA, Mac CONMHEADA—IV—M'Conmea, M'Conmay, M'Convea, M'Convey, M'Convay, M'Conwaie, M'Nema, MacConaway, MacConway, MacNama, Conmey, Convey, &c.; 'son of Cú-meadha,' (hound of Meadh, a place-name); the name of a family who were anciently chiefs of Muinntear Laodhacháin, in Westmeath, but long dispersed.
