Mac CONCHOGAIDH—IV—M'Enchogy, M'Anhoggy, M'Nagcogy; 'son of Cú-chogaidh' (war-hound); an old surname in Roscommon and Longford; now obsolete or, possibly, changed to Mac Cogáin, Mac Cogaidhín, which see. O'Donovan gives the anglicised form as MacConkey which I have failed to verify.
