CINEAL ENDA, (1) race of Enda, son of Niall of the Nine Hostages, a branch of the southern Ui Neill (which see), seated near the Hill of Uisneach, in Westmeath; and (2) race of Enda, son of Conall Gulban; a branch of Cineal Conaill (which see) seated in the present barony of Raphoe.
