DODA—VIII—Dode, Dodd, Dodds; 'son of Doda' (a common Anglo-Saxon personal name, probably a shortened form of Dodwine; given by Searle under a great variety of forms, as Dodda, Doddo, Dodd, Dodo, Duda, Dudda, etc.). It is an old surname in Tipperary.
