TÁILLIÚIR—XIITaillur, Taillour, Taylour, Taylor, &c.; Norman 'le Tailleur,' i.e., the cutter, the tailor; an old Norman surname in Dublin, where the family settled about the time of the invasion. The majority of our Taylors are, however, the descendants of more recent immigrants.
