RÓSAITEAR—XI—Rowcester, Rawceter, Rossiter, &c.; 'of Rocester,' a parish in Staffordshire; the name of an old family in Co. Wexford. Rawceter of Rathmacknee was one of the principal gentlemen of Co. Wexford in 1598. The name is still common in the county.
