Ó RÍMHEADHA—IO Rive, O Rives, Reeves; 'descendant of Rímheadh' (calculator); the name of an ancient family of the Ards of Co. Down; always very rare, and now found chiefly in Co. Limerick. The Four Masters, under the year 1004, record the death of Maelbhríghde Ua Rímheadha, Abbot of Iona.
