Ó MAOLAITHGHEIN—I—(Mullahy, Mulloy); 'descendant of Maolaithghein' (votary of regeneration); an alias for Ó Maolaithche (which see), which is probably a corruption of it. The Four Masters, at the year 1099, mention an erenagh of Dún of this name.
