Ó hITHCHEALLAIGH—I—O Hihilly, O Hilay, Hilly, Hillee; a variant of Ó Fithcheallaigh (which see), owing to the aspiration of the initial f; extremely rare and found only in Kerry, where it has been in use since the 16th century. The family was located in the neighbourhood of Tralee.
