Ó hÉALUIGHTHE—I—O Healihie, O Heally, O Healy, O Hely, Healy, Heally, Hely, Hayles; 'descendant of Ealadhach' (scientific, ingenious); often pronounced Ó hEaluighthe, but, without doubt, originally Ó hEaladhaigh; the name of an ancient family who, according to Dr. O'Brien, were proprietors of Donoghmore, in the barony of Muskerry, Co. Cork, and are still numerous in that county. See also Ó hÉilidhe.
