Ó FUARUISCE—I—O Fworiske, Whoriskey, Whorriskey, Waters, Watters; an old surname in Sligo and Donegal; perhaps a corruption of Ó Fuarghuis, which see. By the aspiration of the initial f, it becomes Ó hUaruisce, which see. Waters is a 'translation.'
