Ó DUINEACHAIR—L—O Dinagher, O Donogher, Donogher, Danagher, Deneher, Donaher, Danaher, Daniher, Dannaher; 'descendant of Duineachar' (man-loving); the name of a family who were anciently lords of Crioch Cathbhaidh, in the neighbourhood of Nenagh, but were dispossessed soon after the Anglo-Norman invasion and dispersed through Munster, Leinster and Connacht; now most numerous in Co. Limerick.
