Ó CUIDIGHTHIGH—I—O Codihie, O Kuddyhy, O Cuddie, Cuddihy, Cudihy, Cuddehy, Quiddihy, Cuddy, Cody, &c.; 'descendant of Cuidightheach' (helper); an Ormond surname. Though apparently distinct, it is probably a mere substitution for Mac Óda, which see.
