Ó CONAIRCE—I—Conarchy; (?) 'descendant of Cú-airce' (hound of greed). Giolla Chriost Ó Conairce was Bishop of Lismore and Papal Legate in Ireland about the middle of the 12th century. The name is now exceedingly rare.
