Ó COMHRAIDHE—IO Cowrie, O Cory, O'Curry, Corey, Corry, Curry; 'descendant of Comhraidhe'; the name (1) of a Westmeath family who were anciently chiefs of Ui Mac Uais, now the barony of Moygoish; (2) of a family of Corca Laoighdhe, in South-west Cork; and (3) of a branch of the Dal gCais in Thomond, to which belonged the celebrated Eugene O'Curry.
