Ó CIABHÁIN—I—O Kivane, Keevane, Keavan; 'descendant of Ciabhán' (diminutive of Ciabhach); the name of a family of Corca Laoighdhe, in West Cork. It can with difficulty be distinguished from Ó Caomháin, which see.
