Ó CÉILE—I—O Kely, Kealy, Wisdom; 'descendant of Céile' (servant, friend, companion); the name of an ecclesiastical family who were erenaghs of Tullow, Co. Carlow, and of another who were erenaghs of Slaine, Co. Meath. It is said to be now anglicised by 'translation,' Wisdom in Co. Louth.
