FACHTNA, genitive — id. and -nan, Fachnan, (Festus); the name of four Irish saints, one of whom is patron of the Dioceses of Ross and Kilfenora; formerly in use among the O'Kellys of Connacht by whom it was anglicised Festus. Latin — Fachtnanus.
