Mac GIOLLA tSEACHLAINN—IV—M'Kintaghlin, M'Taghlin, MacA'Taghlin, MacTaghlin, MacTaghlan, (Houston), &c.; a variant of Mac Giolla Sheachlainn, which see. It was still a Meath surname in the 16th century; now found in Donegal, where it is sometimes anglicised Houston.
