Mac FHEARCHAIR—IV—M'Eragher, MacErchar, MacCarragher, Caragher, Carragher, Caraher, Carraher, Kerragher, Kerraher, &c.; a variant of Mac Fearchair, which see; in use in Ulster, but has always been very rare. The initial f is aspirated, even when pronounced in the anglicised form.
