Mac ÉINRÍ—VM'Enree, M'Henrie, M'Henry, MacEnry, MacEndry, MacHenry, MacHenery, MacHendrie, Mac-Hendry, MacKenery, MacKendry, Fitzhenry, Henry, Hendry, &c.; 'son of Henry'; (a very common name among the early Anglo-Norman settlers); the name of several distinct families in different parts of Ireland; common in Ulster and in some parts of Connacht. The Fitzhenrys of Wexford are an Anglo-Norman family. Also Mac Annraoi and Mac Hannraoi, which see.
