Mac an DRUAIDH—VIIM'Adrwy, M'Edrwe, Drew, and incorrectly MacDrury, Drewry and Drury; 'son of the druid,' or 'magician' (Irish 'druadh'); a rare surname; formerly peculiar to Monaghan and Roscommon. In the latter county, it is incorrectly anglicised Drury.
