de GÚRAM—XI—de Gorham, Gorham; Norman 'de Gorham,' i.e., of Gorham in England. This surname has been in Ireland since the reign of Edward I. It is, no doubt, the origin of the surname which is pronounced Ó Guairim in Co. Galway and anglicised Gorham.
