Born about 1823; he became a pupil in the Dublin Society's School, where he won several prizes, including the first for modelling in 1837. In 1838 he exhibited a bust of Nicholas J. Crowley (q.v.) at the Royal Hibernian Academy. He afterwards went to London and exhibited at the Royal Academy from 1847 to 1859. A bust of Sheridan Knowles was exhibited in 1859. He sent from London to the Royal Hibernian Academy a group, "Paolo and Francesca di Rimini," in 1844, and a portrait bust of a child in 1851. He died of dropsy at Nithsdale House, Ingatestone, Essex, on 25th April, 1860.
