Stewart-Hanna family genealogy
Arms and Crest, same as “Hanna” of Newry, ante.
William, third son of William, who is No. 1 on the “Hanna” (No. 2) pedigree, was the ancestor of this branch of that family. He married Wilhelmina Stewart, of Wilmont, and had issue:
- William-Stewart, of whom presently.
- Jane, m. M. Auguste Turpin, of Paris.
- Maria-Anne, m. M. St. Omer.
- Sarah, married M. Edouard Wolfe.
- Lydia.
2. William-Stewart Hanna (died 1851): son of William; was sometime curate of St. George’s, Jamaica; wrote A Visit to Hayti (1835); was also Minister of Woolwich, and St. James, Marylebone, London. He m., first, Catherine Hall; secondly, Francis Colvin Blagrave, and had issue:
- Jane, who married Rev. David Rutten Morris, of the Isle of Wight.
- Stewart, of whom presently.
- Frances, d. young.
- Henry-Bathurst, known as Col. Bathurst Hanna, Bengal Staff Corps, and Quarter Master General of that Province.
- Julian, of Pau, France.
- Edith.
- William, d. young.
- Rhoda.
- Mina, d. young.
