CATHAL, brother of Fergal, who is No. 101 on the "Donnelly" pedigree, was the ancestor of O'Coraidhegain; anglicised Corrigan.

101. Cathal: son of Cumascach.

102. Coraidhegan ("coraidhe:" Irish, a hero), meaning "the little hero:" his son; a quo O'Coraidhegain; had a brother named Cairbre, a quo O'Carbery, of Orgiall.

Dublin; Vice-Chancellor of the Queen's University in Ireland, and formerly M.P. for Dublin. Sir Dominic's Armorial Bearings were—Arms: Or, a chev. betw. two trefoils slipped in chief vert and a lizard in base, ppr.
