Ballysadare in Sligo; originally Eas-dara [Assdara], the cataract of the oak, from the beautiful fall on the Owenmore river. It was afterwards called Baile-easa-dara [Ballyassadara], (Four Masters), the town of Assdara, which has been shortened to the present name.
