From A Dictionary of Irish Artists 1913

He was a pupil of J. Ennis in the Dublin Society's School, which he entered in 1764. He sent a "Drawing of a Gentleman" to the Society of Artists in William Street in 1770, and in the following year, from Golden Lane, three portraits in chalk. He then went to London, and from there sent over two portraits in 1772. After this date no further mention of him has been found.
